We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a primary-aged child with complex special educational needs. The role will focus on facilitating the child’s access to the curriculum, supporting them to remain engaged and fostering their social and emotional development. The role ideally experience in managing medical needs (e.g.seizure management),  and implementing positive behaviour support strategies. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, parents, and external professionals to ensure a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the child can thrive academically and personally.  In addition to supporting this child, you must be flexible and respond to the needs of the wider team as appropriate and instructed.

Has a Level 2 qualification or equivalent, or relevant experience with childcare/ education.

Has previous and substantial experience of working with children with SEND.
