We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated General Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team at our schools in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students across a range of subjects and age groups, while gaining invaluable experience in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students in the classroom.
• Assist with lesson preparation and resources.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, engaging learning atmosphere.
• Support the teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet students’ individual needs.
• Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting is an advantage, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
